About the bean:

Grown by third generation coffee farmer Porfirio Rodríguez, this coffee is an excellent union of a bold Honduran coffee and the body enhancing practice of honey processing.  Honey processing (melado) leaves some of the coffee cherry flesh on the bean to impart sweetness, flavour and body while drying. This coffee is sourced by Trade Aid and is a Fair Trade certified micro lot.

Flavour Notes: Spice and raisin notes, juicy body and sweetness with a black tea finish
